The White Springbok we hunt on our South Africa Concession are some of the biggest in the World. You can expect a Trophy White Springbok when hunting with us.

The White Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) is a medium-sized antelope found in southern Africa. Similar to the White Blesbok, the white springbok has a color phase developed by selective breeding.

What do White Springbok look like:

White Springbok have a solid white coat as a result of genetic variation leading to light pigmentation with dark circles around the eyes. Some White Springbok may have a tan flank strip, and they have a skin fold on the back that is usually closed, but when they become excited, it thrusts open fanning stiff white hair. Both sexes have a pair of short black horns that are around 10-14 inches long.

White Springbok Habitat:

The habitat of a white Springbok is essentially the same as a common Springbok. They are adapted to a variety of environments including arid regions and grasslands. They are normally found in areas with much vegetation, and they can cover long distances in search of food and water.

Distribution of White Springbok:

White Springboks range include mainly the dry areas of south and southwestern Africa, and are found in the central and western parts of South Africa.

White Springbok Behavior:

White Springboks are known for their stiff-legged leaps when excited or frightened. This is known as pronking. Breeding season takes place in October and November, and females have produce one offspring at a time.

White Springbok Conservation status:

White Springboks are subject to the same conservation concerns as common Springboks, including habitat loss and potential competition with livestock for resources.
