Safari Hunt Africa allows the opportunity to hunt and harvest Trophy South African Springbok. The Limpopo Province of South Africa is one of the premier destinations in the World to hunt the Springbok. Year round, we offer hunts for awesome Trophy Springbok, as there are no seasonal restrictions on hunting the Springbok in South Africa.
Our hunters typically hunt the South African Springbok in conjunction with a 7-10 day African Safari. One of our Experienced and Licensed Professional Hunters will be your guide during your Springbok Hunt. We typically hunt Springbok Safari Style, Spot and Stalk, or by Still Hunting if you are a Bow Hunter. We can accommodate all methods of Hunting for Springbok including Rifle, Bow, Black Powder, Crossbow or Handgun. We can accommodate hunters of any age and experience level.
The Springbok which we hunt on our South Africa Concession are some of the biggest in the World. You can expect a Trophy Springbok when hunting with us.
The Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) is a medium-sized antelope found in southern Africa.
What do Springbok look like:
Springbok have reddish-brown coat with a white belly and face, and a dark stripe running along their sides. They have long slender legs and a small head. Both sexes have a pair of short black horns that are around 12-18 inches long, with the females’ being shorter.
Springbok Habitat:
Springbok are adapted to a variety of environments including grasslands, savannas, and semi-desert regions. They are normally found in areas with much vegetation, and they can cover long distances in search of food and water.
Springbok Diet:
Springboks are herbivores that feed on grasses and other vegetation. They are able to survive on nutrient-poor forage, making them well adaptable to arid environments.
Springbok Behavior:
Springboks are known for their stiff-legged leaps when excited or frightened. This is known as pronking. Breeding season takes place in October and November, and females have produce one offspring at a time.
Springbok Reproduction:
Springbok Breeding occurs during the rainy season, and females will give birth to one calf after a gestation period of about six months. Calves are able to stand and run shortly after birth.
At Africa Hunt Lodge, we hunt all 5 color variants of the Springbok including the Common Springbok, Black Springbok, White Springbok, Copper Springbok as well as the Shadow Springbok.

Non-hunting guests are welcome to accompany the Hunters.
